Coltrix Biomedical is a pre-clinical stage company with the mission of delivering novel, collagen-based medical devices that improve surgical outcomes.

The lead product is Collapatch, a resorbable membrane that prevents the formation of adhesions after surgery. Adhesions are an internal form of scarring that annually result in 300,000 US hospital readmissions with costs of $1.3B.

Designed for exceptional performance and ease-of-use, Collapatch is targeted for market release in early 2013.
